Wind Sports

By whatever means you are catching the wind, be it by sail or kite, board or boat, Weymouth and Portland has some of the best conditions, weather and geology for these activities.

For the windsurfers, there is the Official Test Centre at Portland for you to try and buy all the equipment you need. For all you kite flyers, there is the famous Paracademy. Up the beach from The Chandlers is Second Wind Watersports for sales and advice. As for sailing, we're lucky to have the National Sailing Academy which is host to the 2012 Olympic Games.
